WHEN TO VISIT
November to February are probably the least hospitable for touring the country. It's cold and days are short. March and October are marginal - there's more daylight but it can still be cold. April to September are the best months and when most sights are open and the most people visit. July and August are definitely the buiest times and best avoided.

CLOTHING

Lightweight cottons and linens are worn during the peak of summer but you may also need medium-weights. In summer definitely bring warmer clothes.
