Dublin is the official home of Guiness. Bacon and cabbage,
coddle, Irish stew, smoked salmon on soda bread, boxty,
mussels and stout are some of the traditional dishes associated
with Dublin.
However you will increasingly find a cosmpolitan palate
with anything from burgers to bhajis, pizzas to pakoras,
gumbo to guacamole. Italian. French, American, Chinese,
Indian, Thai, Lebanese, Japanese, Russian and even Translyvanian
cuisines.

Bewley's Oriental Cafés
Big cooked breakfasts and home-style cooking in hearty
helpings. This is another of Dublin's institutions. The
Grafton Street branch is especially popular with night-owls

Temple Bar is the most concentrated restaurant area in

Ivan Beshoff's fish and chip shop is an institution in
Dublin. It is famous for its fresh fish and chips which

Nico's
Conservative Italian food with Irish influences. Very
popular with piano. 53 Dame Street on the corner of Temple
Lane. Open for dinner Mon-Sat. Lunch on weekdays.
BARS
Temple Bar is the pub crawling neighbourhood of Dublin.
The Brazen Head
The oldest pub in town and popular with tourists while
remaining traditionally Irish. Claims to be founded in

Café en Seine
A popular spot and a mix of an Irish pub and French café.
Visited by tourists and a wealthier set. Good value meals

This place is sometimes frequented by U2 who drop in for

A popular place and the dark wood, smoke and stuffed animals
