TOURIST OFFICES
Dublin's main tourist information centre is located in
a renovated church on Suffolk street with branch offices
at the airport and Dun Laoghaire ferry terminal.
The Temple Bar (www.temple-bar.ie) information centre
provides a more arty perspective with the main emphasis
on the Temple Bar neighbourhood. Alternatively, the USIT
Travel Agency opposite O'Connell Bridge is a good source
of information and is more geared toward the backpacker.
Check out USIT's noticeboard if you're looking for work
or more long-term accommodation.
Hot Press, In Dublin and the Dublin Event Guide are good
sources of gig and event listings with broadsheet newspapers
such as the Irish Times (www.ireland.com) and the Sunday
Tribune providing cinema and theatre listings.
